Finally, one thing for all the pens

The four wells sort themselves out on their own. Pens in the first, a pair of scissors and a ruler in the second, cables in the third, and the last one has become the place for whatever I don't want on the desk. The ribbing catches the light in the afternoon and the mustard is warmer than it looks in photos.

Heavier than expected, in a good way

I was worried a 3D printed stand would feel light and tip when I pulled a pen out. It doesn't. The base is solid and the walls are thick. You can see the layer lines if you look closely, but they read as texture rather than a flaw, especially with the flutes.

Lovely, wells could be a touch deeper

Sits on my kitchen counter holding wooden spoons and a whisk, so not quite what it was designed for, but it works. Taller spoons lean a bit because the wells are pen-depth. For the desk it would be perfect. The colour matches our terracotta tiles surprisingly well.

Gifted this to my father for his study. He has kept his fountain pens in a steel cup for twenty years and I did not think he would switch. He switched the same evening.

Good design, slow delivery

The stand itself is exactly as pictured and well finished. Took nine days to reach Kochi though, and the box arrived a little crushed at one corner. No damage to the product, but worth knowing if you are ordering it as a gift with a date in mind.
