WHAT IT IS
The pattern is the printing
Most decorated trays have a texture pressed or painted onto a flat floor. This one is built up: each contour ring is a stack of layers, so the ridges you run a thumb over are the same lines the machine drew. Nothing is added after.
A wall around your small things
The rim comes up 22 mm, which is high enough that a ring cannot roll out and a pair of earrings cannot skate off when you put the tray down in a hurry. Wide enough for a watch lying flat.
Six colours, one landscape
The same elevation model prints in every colourway. Light colours make the contours read as shadow, the darker ones turn them into a relief map you notice only when the light moves across the desk.

Nicer in the hand than in photos
The contour thing sounds gimmicky until you hold it. It is genuinely tactile. Sits by my front door and holds keys, airpods and loose change without any of it escaping.

One for the desk, one for the bathroom shelf for my watch and rings. The finish handles water fine as long as you wipe it. Terracotta is warm, not orange.

My fault for not reading the dimensions properly — it is a catch-all, not a serving tray. Once I adjusted my expectations I use it every single day.
