A smiling ball that twists open into a tiny screw-top pot. Big enough for a folded note, a spare earring, two paracetamol or a memory card — small enough to live on your keys.

WHAT IT IS

The thread is printed too

The thread is printed too

The screw thread that holds the two halves together comes off the machine finished — no insert, no glue, no rubber seal. It takes a few turns to open, which is exactly enough to stop it opening in a bag.

For the thing you keep losing

For the thing you keep losing

A folded emergency note. The earring you take out at work. Two paracetamol. A spare SIM and the pin to pop the tray. Small things that matter go missing in a bag; this one is on your keys, so it does not.

The face is part of the shape

The face is part of the shape

The eyes and the smile are recessed into the print rather than painted or stuck on afterwards, which means they cannot scuff off in a pocket. Five years from now it will still be smiling.

Carries my earrings every day

I take my studs out at the gym and used to wrap them in tissue. Now they go in here. Thread is tight, has never come open on its own in months of use.

Small and genuinely useful

Fits a folded ₹500 note for emergencies. The yellow and green is cheerful without being childish. Screws shut with a satisfying amount of resistance.

Cute, a touch bigger than I pictured

It is a proper little pot rather than a token one, which is good for storage and slightly bulky on a small keyring. Still on my keys though, so it clearly won.
